SOCIAL LEAGUE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms & conditions:

Competition run by Strike Entertainment Pty Ltd - ABN 98 098 034 943, 1/7Newry Street, Richmond, VIC 3121.

Strike Social League is a game of skill and not one of chance or luck.

Promotion runs from 8pm 28/02/12 to 9:30pm 27/03/12

Entry open to adults over the age of 18 years old only.

Employees of Strike Entertainment are not eligible to enter.

In order to enter the competition, entrants must register their team and abide by the following rules:

  1. Register:
    1. Registrations will only be available online via Strike’s website
      1. www.strikebowlingbar.com.au/social-league
    2. Each team will have a team Captain and the Captain will register their team
    3. Captains will register their teams by filing out online form
    4. Captains will be required to:
      1. Select the venue which they wish to sign up to
      2. Provide his/her
        1. Name; E-mail address; mobile number; nickname
    5. Enter the team name
    6. Enter the details of their three team mates
      1. Name; nickname; e-mail address; t-shirt shirt size
    7. Select the their team colour (t-shirt colour; 16 to choose from)
    8. Pay either:
      1. A deposit of $60 which covers themselves for the season
      2. Pay $240 for the entire team for the season
    9. If the Captain only pays the deposit, the remaining balance of $180 will be payable to the venue at the beginning of each week ($9 per person per week)
    10. Teams:
      1. 4 people per team
      2. Minimum 8 teams & maximum 16 teams
      3. Maximum number of teams:
        1. QV: 12
        2. Chapel: 10
        3. Bayside: 6
        4. Glen Waverley: 8
        5. EQ: 12
        6. Chatswood: 10
        7. Charlestown: 8
        8. Surfers: 12
        9. Tamworth: 8
        10. Brisbane: 12
    11. Registrations will open to public on December 16th
    12. Registrations will close to public on February 19th
  2. Competition Fixture:
    1. 4 weeks round-robin with fixture
    2. 1 week finals which all teams will participate in
    3. The fixture will be released on the 1st of September
    4. 2 games per night per team; therefore each team will play a minimum of 10 games
    5. Winner scores 4 points
    6. Loser scores 0 points
    7. No-shows scores -2 points
    8. Weekly leader board updated on the Strike Social League website every Wednesday
  3. Prizes:
    1. Grand prize of $250 cash per venue
    2. Sir Post-a-lot - Free beverage* on arrival for following week
      1. Most active social media person each week
      2. E.g.: Most Facebook posts, check-ins, Tweets, Instagram, etc
    3. Connect 4 – Free home-made pizza
      1. 4 strikes in a row by each member of the team (one per team member consecutively)
    4. Stuck in the gutter – free beverage* at the end of the night
      1. Person with the lowest score gets a free shot
    5. Winning! – The highest team score of the night
      1. A Strike Social League drink card (4 drinks valid for that night only)
  4. General rules:
    1. If a member of the team is unable to participate, a substitution can be brought in to replace the absent team member, however the weekly fee of $9 per person is still payable (if the full $240 was not paid in full during registration)
    2. Strike is a licensed venue and operates under the Liquor Licensing Acts of each state, New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland
    3. Strike serves alcohol according to the Responsible Serving of Alcohol Acts of each state, New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland
    4. Strike reserves the right to refuse entry
    5. Strike reserves the right to change the rules listed above without notice at any time
