While most of us have bowled before, it may have been a long time since you visited a bowling alley. We understand the needs of the social bowler and our staff are on hand to assist you in selecting the correct shoe size, the appropriate ball and to familiarise you with the basic rules and aim of the game. Our reception staff are on hand answer any bowling questions and offer tips how to bowl that first Strike!

Strike Bowling Bar is at the forefront of bowling innovation and technology. Strike Bayside has ten lanes, all with automated scoring, UV lighting and automatic bumper bowling for kids. Three of our lanes can be divided by a separate doorway and curtains, creating your own personal bowling alley - perfect for a group booking. Animated scoring screens and large music video projectors are at every lane. From our Strike branded bowling shoes to bowling ramps for kids and character bowling balls - there really is no bowling experience in Australia quite like Strike.
Some bowling basics:

• All Strike bowling prices include shoe hire
• Six to seven bowlers is the comfortable maximum per lane
• Bowling is a timed game and the length of your game will be dependent on the number of bowlers on your lane. Allow ten minutes per person per game when making your booking (six people = one hour on a lane)
• All guests are required to arrive and check into reception 15 minutes prior to their bowling time, to allow for payment and to get "shoed up" 
• Don't forget to bring a pair of socks. In case you forget Strike has socks available for purchase upon checking in
• Yes, the rumour is true: you can bowl and drink whilst at your lanes. Enjoy!
